Back to Projects

This project pays homage to the those quite indescribably beautiful moments in life. Those moments in which nothing in particular happened but that you remember for the rest of your life. These still moments carry the immense power of reverie. I took time to remember these moments from my life and condense the language of these memories. The fewer words were used to describe the memory the more power those words seemed to carry. A new form of poetry was developed for this piece in which only 6 words can be used to describe an experience. These memories (reveries) were then named, printed, and mounted as a lasting record of ultra-distilled experience. I believe that when shared these experience carry the power to unpack reverie experiences in the mind of the viewer and from their own life experience.

Below are some example images, 10 prints were created for this piece.
